Use the same official work series, base year and aggregation for both periods. Electrical/building/civil indices cannot be compared to each other. Half-year labels describe your aggregation, not an independently published half-year statistic. Labor rates and standard market unit prices are separate data.

Rate=(comparison/base−1)×100. The amount is a single-index sensitivity estimate. Contractual E/S eligibility, elapsed days, adjustment factors/weights, remaining work, advance-payment deductions and actual payable amounts require the contract-specific method.

How to use

Choose a work series and index base year. Both periods must use the same official subseries, base year and aggregation method; never compare unrelated electrical and construction series.
Select ordered base/comparison years and periods. A half-year mean requires all six months; a quarter mean requires all three. Period-end aggregation requires the final month.
Enter verified aggregated indices directly or paste one YYYY-MM,index per line without a header. Placeholder numbers describe the format and are not published statistics. Missing periods are not extrapolated.
Change=(comparison/base−1)×100. Optional amount×change is a single-index sensitivity estimate, not contractual E/S eligibility, a weighted adjustment factor or payment. Labor rates and standard market unit prices are separate datasets.

Worked examples

Illustrative only: same series 2025 H1=120 and 2026 H1=126; amount KRW 100 million

Index change +5%; reference increase KRW 5 million

126/120−1=0.05. These invented example values explain the formula; they are not official indices or a contractual adjustment factor.
