    Finance & Tax

    Salary take-home calculator

Turn a gross monthly or annual salary into an estimated monthly payment. The Korean profile uses the published monthly income-tax table rather than an annual-tax shortcut, including eligible family members, children and an 80/100/120% withholding choice. Insurance and tax appear separately in the payment breakdown. English pages still require an explicit jurisdiction choice.

    MAKE IT SIMPLE

English is a display language. Korean rates apply only to the South Korea profile. The manual profile does not calculate any country’s tax law.

Annual pay is spread evenly across 12 months. Enter bonuses separately only if paid in this month; do not include them twice.

Already included in gross pay. Enter only amounts that meet tax-exemption rules; meal allowances are not automatically exempt for everyone.

Adjust tax details and insurance enrollment
    Korean monthly employee deductions

Industrial accident insurance is paid by the employer for ordinary employees (employee deduction 0). Enrollment is your selection, not an automatic eligibility decision. Health 3.595%; care = employee health premium × 0.9448 ÷ 7.19.

Without an override the insurance base is estimated from taxable pay. Pension bases: Jan–Jun KRW 400,000–6,370,000; Jul–Dec 410,000–6,590,000. Health employee premium is limited to KRW 10,080–4,591,740. Actual registered bases, adjustments and reductions may differ.

Estimate only. It excludes year-end settlement, special reductions, irregular bonus withholding, insurance settlements and employer-specific rules. Amounts are not stored or sent to a server.
