    Electrical conduit quantity takeoff

Prepare a preliminary conduit takeoff by entering the lengths of independent straight routes and the number of repeated runs. The estimator counts full-length sticks per run, straight couplers at joints and support positions using your own spacing and waste allowance. All inputs stay in your browser.

    MAKE IT SIMPLE

Example: 8+5+2+4 with 2 routes = two separate 19 m routes. Alternatively, (8+5+2+4)*2 with route count 1 gives the same result. You can add up to 100 rows.

Each independent route uses its own full-stick rounding, straight couplers and support points. A grouped *2 suffix means two routes; if the separate route count is also greater than 1, the input is rejected to prevent double counting. Shared supports, fittings, cut-off reuse and installation standards are not inferred.

    Worked examples

    8 m × 2 runs and 14 m × 1 run; 3 m sticks; 1.5 m support spacing; 5% allowance

30 m straight route length, 12 sticks including allowance, 8 couplers and 25 support positions

Independent runs use 11 base sticks, eight joints and 25 endpoint/intermediate support positions; one additional stick is added for waste.

    Questions & answers

Does this determine legal bracket spacing?

No. Support spacing is supplied by you. Check the conduit material, size, fixing method, relevant standards and site conditions.
